Wetland farming also known as humid farming is practised in areas where rainfall is adequate. Farmers raise the crops without the help of irrigation. Areas which get heavy rainfall grow crops like rice, sugarcane & jute, whereas areas with moderate rainfall grow wheat, barley, millets etc. At least two crops can be raised in a year in this type of farming practise.
